Lipid mediators (LMs), which are physiologically active lipids, play a critical role in promoting and suppressing acute inflammation. This study elucidates the molecular mechanisms by which macrophages, responsible for LM production, transition LMs from a pro-inflammatory to a pro-resolving state during acute kidney injury (AKI).
